“We had a wonderful time at The Overlook! Lynn was amazing and so sweet. We hope to come back with a bunch of friends for a little excursion. The Inn is immaculately clean and tidy and that was one of the first things I noticed! My fiance loved all he little treats left everywhere… especially those chocolate biscottis! I’m dreaming as I write this because I want to go back! What a gem of a place! Thanks again Lynn, hope you are having a wonderful start to the new year.”

“My husband and I stayed three nights at the Overlook Inn. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing visit. The staff was very friendly, yet professional. The owner Lynn is incredibly nice, enthusiastic about what she does, and her hospitality was above and beyond! The morning view at breakfast was beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious!!”

“We have had mixed experiences with B&B’s, but we rolled the dice here and really enjoyed our two day stay. Loved the library/dining room. Nicely decorated, comfortable reading area, and beautiful view out of the large windows facing the valley. Our room had a small covered deck with a hot tub, which we used. Both days breakfasts were very good and elegantly served. We also had one pre-arranged dinner, and it too was quite good and included a nice bottle of wine and a decadent dessert. Very much enjoyed our chats with the Innkeeper Lynn. Be aware that it is a bit of a drive to outside restaurants in either Chatsworth or Ellijay. We will be back.”

“My husband and I had a too short, but wonderful stay at The Overlook Inn this week. We stayed in the Celestial Suite. My only regret is I cannot move it to my house! It was spacious and included all of the comforts you could imagine – an insanely comfy bed, rain head & body spray shower, jetted tub, full couch & window seat, desk, tv, mini fridge/microwave and peninsula fireplace (off during this season). The Council Room was a stunning place to gather in the morning for “to die for” breakfasts and relax at the end of the day and enjoy the view or visit with other guests. Several seating areas outside also provided great places to relax. Lynn was a terrific hostess. My husband is a die hard Coke drinker and Lynn even had a can waiting for him at breakfast.”

“Went for a weekend getaway, for some whitewater rafting, and some hiking. Had an outstanding time. Lynn and Mike where great hosts. The room amazing. The breakfast each morning was really good. my favorite was the apple muffins. And nothing beats the view from the top of the mountain. Definitely coming back.”

“We had so much FUN at the Overlook Inn! The inn was beautiful, the food great and it was such a great location. Our room was very cozy and warm. The inn was near Ellijay so we went shopping one day and the innkeeper gave us excellent advice where we should shop and eat dinner. When we woke up the last morning, there was snow and the view was incredible! We will definitely go back during another season and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a romantic get-away.”

“We rented the entire inn for our intimate wedding weekend getaway. It was absolutely perfect. Being the bride with much on my plate, Lynn, Mackenzie, and Patsy were absolutely wonderful. All I needed was to ask and they were on it. The location is stunning. The rooms are gorgeous and so accommodating. The service is first class. The food was 5 star. All of my guests raved about their experience. Just an absolute lovely weekend with so much love in the air.
XO to the keepers and girls. We truly did leave as friends! Thanks Again!

“I have stayed in several B&B’s in the mountains of NC and GA and this is the best! VERY RELAXING… easy to kick back with a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the phenomenal view from the Council-Breakfast room, bountiful breakfast and snacks, company of the BEST hosts (Lynn and Mike), outstanding comfort of the bed, view and amenities in the Grand Gahuti room, or walk through the herb and butterfly gardens or mountain trail. My daughter-in-law and I experienced a wonderful girls’ getaway for two nights in June and emerged renewed and rejuvenated. Thanks a bunch, Lynn! Love you… Sandy”

“Overlook was a great place to stay! Lynn, one of the innkeepers, was just fantastic, as was the rest of the housekeeping/serving staff. Great views, wonderful breakfasts, with wine and cheese hour, too! Remote enough to have gorgeous views, close enough to two towns to be convenient. My wife and I can’t wait to stay again!”

My wife and I went to the Overlook inn for our honeymoon. Words cannot describe how wonderful our stay was. Miss Lynn is a wonderful host, from fantastic dining tips to a lavish breakfast. Miss Lynn’s breakfast will get you out of bed. The flavours are combined in a wonderful and loving way. The location is perfect, when it is cloudy you are literally in the clouds. Which gives a fairy tale feeling! We stayed in the Grand Gahuti, and like breakfast it is amazing. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Chatsworth, Blue Ridge area I would visit The overlook inn. We will definitely visit again!!

“Wow, wow and wow. The Overlook B&B is more than a slice of heaven. Pam and I went up there this past Friday for the weekend. Lynn the owner greeted us and showed us around the inn and the property. So beautiful and well taken care of. The view on Ft Mountain was amazing from the Inn. There is always coffee service in the main room along with a wine, beverage and cheese presented on Friday and Saturday night. A 3-course fantastic breakfast was served each morning for us! We also had an excellent rainbow trout dinner served overlooking the beautiful mountains. The entire staff treated us very well and paid attention to all details that made our stay perfect. Our room was perfect as well. We were able to fully relax while staying at the Inn, as well as being only 80 minutes from home. We recommend this B&B for a perfect getaway. What a great time we had and can’t wait to go back!!!”

“My wife and I have vacationed to several B & B’s over the last 5 years. This is a must stay. Activities within 20 miles will keep you busy. Always a plus. Hospitality is second-to-none. Lynn is one of a kind. This is a special location we will revisit.” logo with 5 stars

Amazingly Relaxing

“This is a casual getaway spot that has amazing service and so many thoughtful amenities that made me feel welcome and now I can’t wait to return. All of the details are very thought-through and considerate. It is a sweet little inn with a relaxing vibe and surrounded by beautiful scenery.” logo with 5 stars

We Keep Coming Back!

“We have stayed at this B&B multiple times. The view is spectacular. You are close to many hiking trails and a few quaint small towns for shopping. Besides a delicious breakfast that is provided, this is one of the few B&Bs where you can pre-order a dinner for an additional fee. In the afternoon tea and coffee is served with cookies. Later, local wines are paired with local cheeses. The innkeeper, Lynn, has been very keen on providing food options for my husband who is a type 2 diabetic. You simply can’t beat the view or the service.” logo with 5 stars

Favorite Bed and Breakfast

“A wonderful place to stay with beautiful views of the mountains. Lynn and her staff take such great care of you and the three-course breakfasts are fantastic. They really care to make sure all your needs are met. If you like hiking, there is a trail from the Inn to the bottom of the mountain. Fort Mountain State Park is just up the road with lots of trails to explore. The town of Ellijay and Aricalola Falls are also nearby. If you just want to relax, hang out at the Inn and enjoy the peace and quiet. Will definitely be returning.” logo with 5 stars

Perfect Getaway with Stunning Views!!!

“The Overlook Inn is a fabulous gem of a B and B with beautiful and comfortable spacious rooms, delicious breakfast and beautiful mountain views to take your breath away. Just looking at the view from the great room dining area or your own porch allows you to de-stress right away. And the wine and cheese happy hour is great too! We will be back for many more get away weekends and it is just a short drive from Atlanta for those of you in the metro area.” logo with 5 stars
