spring, summer, fall or winter, The Overlook Inn is a beautiful
location for your small, intimate North Georgia Wedding or special
event.
You’ll
experience spring and summer, as you’ve never imagined the
seasons. A carpet of green rolled over the mountains and valleys
as an explosion of wildflowers, mountain laurel, rhododendron,
and dogwood welcome the Spring season to the songs of a choir
of birds. Summer is mild and comfortable---weather, which beckons
you outside to our patio to enjoy the view. During these seasons,
you might plan your event on our private stone patio surrounded
by wildflowers and overlooking a magnificent mountain vista.
In fall, nature
paints the mountains. The countryside is awash with colors and
the air becomes crisp. Winter means a crackling fire in our large
stone fireplace and glimmering lights across the valley as the
blue mist creeps over the area. Admire the galaxy of stars from
our main gathering room -as bright as you’ve ever seen them.
During these seasons, you might choose to hold your event in our
warm and richly appointed Council Room.
Whatever the
season, The Overlook Inn provides a stunning setting for your
event. Whether you choose to have your reception on our lovely
landscaped stone patio or in our handsome lodge-style council
room---both have spectacular views of valleys and mountains. Our
5 luxury guest rooms accommodate up to 10 guests and our special
event facilities hold a maximum of 30 guests.
Accommodations
To insure
your party has absolute privacy and exclusive use of the premises,
you must rent all 5 guestrooms for a minimum stay of 2 nights
if the event is held on weekends (3 nights on holiday weekends)
or 1 night if the event is held on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday
