Hike to the Heart

Join everyone at Fort Mountain State Park for a belated celebration of Valentine’s Day. Interpretive rangers will lead a hike of about a mile (round trip) to the old stone tower where participants will learn the endearing story of the true love carved in stone. Park at the beach parking lot and take a romantic tractor ride up to the overlook. Wagon rides will leave every half hour from 2:00 to 4:00 from shelter #1.
$2.00 for pre-registered participants
(reservation and payment must be received by February 8,2013)
$4.00 for non-registered participants
All pre-registered ladies will receive a red carnation
All proceeds will go to the Friends of Fort Mountain to help fund park programs.
