Tour de Georgia
-
Mountain Biking is a big event on Fort Mountain. To prove it, the organizers of Georgia's very own professional cycling race, The Ford Tour de Georgia, annually stage the 5th leg of the race over Fort Mountain. On Friday, April 20, 2007, the race will pass just outside The Overlook Inn's doors so guests may watch the race from their private porches. (Click on photo for more information)
